Lauren is really friendly, and she really knows her stuff! She explains everything well, in a really easy-to-understand way (great for sleep deprived parents!). I'd recommend [Newborn] Sleep from A-Z' to anyone expecting (or who has a baby), as it's a really daunting subject as a new parent, and this resource helped me to discover so much about my baby's sleep that I never knew.

As a grandma whose baby is 26 years old, Baby Sleep from A to Z is both a concise refresher of the 'tried and true' and a tutorial based on very current evidence-based research. This resource is my go-to baby gift. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?!

"Lauren's 'Big Kid Sleep from A-Z' course was really helpful for me! I loved how thorough it was—I wish I would have had something like this when my kids were babies, because I think it would have helped us prevent so many of the sleep struggles we've had during the past few years. And what a time-saver this course was—instead of having to scroll the internet for hours, sifting through all kinds of information to find answers that may or may not help, I could just sit and listen to Lauren present it clearly and concisely, all in one spot! It was definitely an hour well spent. We're still facing sleep challenges with one child, but armed with the knowledge from this course, I feel confident about the changes we need to make in our home! Thanks, Lauren!"

"One of the hardest things about having a child is not knowing what you don’t know! Big Kid Sleep from A to Z is an amazing resource. It erases the unknown and provides a comprehensive view of what to expect and how to prepare for sleep as your child grows and their sleep needs change. I was so impressed by the written guide and the corresponding video. Lauren is an excellent resource and her guide provides a great foundation to help parents feel comfortable and prepared to help their children sleep. Big Kid Sleep from A to Z is a great investment for you and your child!"

- Maggie from Pennsylvania

I really enjoyed following along with the video and going through the notebook adding my own notes as I listened. Your stories as you explained each letter were relatable and made me envision how I could implement them/ how my daughters sleep is affected. Your explanations about the consistent schedule was especially helpful for us as our daughter has been having early morning wakings and we are always trying to figure out our best way to respond. As an educator I also appreciate your explanations on how to implement the boundary cards and routine charts in the workbook. Thank-you for creating another resource to help us feel more confident as parents and explaining how to keep bedtime an enjoyable time for us.

FAQs

Will these classes be helpful if I'm not ready to sleep train?

Yes!  These A to Z classes are not a sleep plan and do not walk through one method of sleep training. They do, however, give information and routines that will support independent sleep if/when you're ready to sleep train. It also helps you understand why your baby might be waking in the night, or why your child keeps getting out of bed, so you can decide how you'd like to approach sleep changes.

We have already sleep trained, will these classes be helpful?

Yes! Whether you sleep trained recently or not, these classes will help you feel confident as you continue navigating your little one's sleep as they get older - what schedules are age-appropriate and how to adjust them, what sleep regressions look like, how to establish boundaries around being in a new bed, etc.  The goal is that you only have to sleep train your little one one time and then you feel confident making adjustments as they keep getting older!

Will these classes help us sleep train for the first time?

Yes! While these classes do not provide step-by-step sleep training plans, they are the foundation of every sleep plan we write for families of babies, toddlers, & young kids. Lauren explains the different sleep training methods so you can decide what works best for your child and family. The content also helps you understand why your little one might be struggling to fall and/or stay asleep in their own bed and what routines and boundaries will be helpful to put in place to reach independent sleep.
