"Lauren is really friendly, and she really knows her stuff! She explains everything well, in a really easy-to-understand way (great for sleep deprived parents!). I'd recommend 'The Baby Sleep from A-Z' to anyone expecting (or who has a baby), as it's a really daunting subject as a new parent, and this resource helped me to discover so much about my baby's sleep that I never knew. I wish it had been around when my baby was tiny!"

- Kirsty K. from United Kingdom

"Expecting twins can be overwhelming by itself...then add on the desire to have our babies sleep so we can sleep too! After watching Baby Sleep A to Z and utilizing the workbook, we feel more informed and empowered to implement what Lauren shared when our babies arrive in a few months. A thorough resource that gives a broad overview, but very clear actionable ideas to help navigate developing healthy sleep habits is a great place to start in getting educated about newborn and baby sleep."

- Leslie L. from New Jersey

"As a grandma whose baby is 26 years old, Baby Sleep from A to Z is both a concise refresher of the 'tried and true' and a tutorial based on very current evidence-based research. This resource is my go-to baby gift. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?!"

FAQs

Will this be helpful if I'm not ready to sleep train?

Yes! Baby Sleep from A to Z is not a sleep plan and does not walk through one method of sleep training. It does, however, give information and routines that will support independent sleep if/when you're ready to sleep train. It also helps parents understand why their baby might be waking in the night so they can decide how they would like to approach sleep.

Is Baby Sleep from A to Z applicable to twins?

Yes! This will be a great resource to help you understand your babies' sleep so you can start establishing routines early on, as well as building their schedules to best support their sleep needs (and yours!) as they keep getting older. This blog post will also be helpful for you.

My baby is older and we've already done some work on sleep, could this still be helpful?

Most likely! While there is information about newborn sleep, there is also information and schedules about babies' sleep through about 17 months old. One of the motivations behind Baby Sleep from A to Z is that there are some seemingly "simple" tweaks we can make to our little ones' schedules and routines that can quickly solve something like night wakings or early morning wakings, and those are included in this resource.

"Lauren's 'Big Kid Sleep from A-Z' course was really helpful for me! I loved how thorough it was—I wish I would have had something like this when my kids were babies, because I think it would have helped us prevent so many of the sleep struggles we've had during the past few years. And what a time-saver this course was—instead of having to scroll the internet for hours, sifting through all kinds of information to find answers that may or may not help, I could just sit and listen to Lauren present it clearly and concisely, all in one spot! It was definitely an hour well spent. We're still facing sleep challenges with one child, but armed with the knowledge from this course, I feel confident about the changes we need to make in our home! Thanks, Lauren!"

- Kellie M. from Utah

"One of the hardest things about having a child is not knowing what you don’t know! Big Kid Sleep from A to Z is an amazing resource. It erases the unknown and provides a comprehensive view of what to expect and how to prepare for sleep as your child grows and their sleep needs change. I was so impressed by the written guide and the corresponding video. Lauren is an excellent resource and her guide provides a great foundation to help parents feel comfortable and prepared to help their children sleep. Big Kid Sleep from A to Z is a great investment for you and your child!"

- Maggie H. from Pennsylvania

"I really enjoyed following along with the video and going through the notebook adding my own notes as I listened. Your stories as you explained each letter were relatable and made me envision how I could implement them/ how my daughters sleep is affected. Your explanations about the consistent schedule was especially helpful for us as our daughter has been having early morning wakings and we are always trying to figure out our best way to respond. As an educator I also appreciate your explanations on how to implement the boundary cards and routine charts in the workbook. Thank-you for creating another resource to help us feel more confident as parents and explaining how to keep bedtime an enjoyable time for us."

FAQs

We have already sleep trained, will this be helpful?

Yes! Baby sleep and toddler sleep often feel like different worlds. Whether you sleep trained when your little one was a baby or more recently, Big Kid Sleep from A to Z will help you feel confident as you continue navigating your little one's sleep as they get older - how to adjust their nap and bedtime, what sleep regressions look like, how to establish boundaries around being in an open bed, etc.

Will this help us sleep train our toddler or older child for the first time?

Yes! While Baby Sleep from A to Z is NOT a sleep training plan, it is the foundation of every sleep plan I write for families of toddlers and school-aged children. It also helps parents understand why their child might be struggling to fall and/or stay asleep in their own bed and what routines and boundaries will be helpful to put in place to reach independent sleep.

Will Big Kid Sleep from A to Z help a child older than 5 years old?

It's likely! If your child has always struggled with sleep or has been pushing bedtime boundaries lately, Big Kid Sleep from A to Z will be very helpful. It will also help you establish an age-appropriate schedule for your little one. There is content about nap time, toddler sleep regressions, and transitioning out of the crib that won't be as helpful for older kids, but the rest is still applicable.
